Corinne Woodward Hoopes, a cherished mother, grandmother, and devoted wife, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 72. She was born on April 24, 1952, in Ogden, Utah, to Garth and Loretta Woodward.
On June 10, 1988, she married Randy Lee Hoopes in Clearfield, Utah. Her career was spent as a tax examiner for the IRS. Corinne enjoyed reading, baking and playing games. She was particularly captivated by nature; she loved taking photographs of wildlife and spending time in the breathtaking landscapes of the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park, which were some of her favorite places to be.
Corinne is survived by her husband, Randy, and her children: Dawn (Michael) Chapman, Alan James Hoopes, and daughter-in-law Windy Fielding. She was a proud grandmother to Launa, Zain, Cody, Josh, Sammy, and Lestate, and a great-grandmother to Aiden, Cooper, and Miles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garth and Loretta Woodward, her son Sean, her daughter Tammy, her stepmother Marlene, and her granddaughter McKenzie.
Viewing will be held on March 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Evanston LDS Elm St Chapel, 251 Elm Street in Evanston followed by funeral services at the same location starting at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest during an interment ceremony on March 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch in Ogden, Utah.
In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite animal rescue in memory of Corrine. The family extends a special thank you to the Evanston EMT’s; Evanston Regional Hospital staff and the University of Utah for all their special care to Corrine.
