Celia, I was so sorry to read in the newspaper that your mother had passed. It sounds like she was a lovely lady. I am a voice from your past--I lived across the hall from you and Nance when we were freshmen at Calvin. We recently moved to Holland and I am seeing names that I haven't seen in many years. It was my pleasure to travel with Cork when we went to Alaska. I will always remember her sense of adventure and her joyful smile. She will be missed at Maranatha. Sympathy to the entire family.

Cork was the unit clerk at Holland Hospital when i worked in the ICU. She had an incredible gift of encouragement. I also remember her as a huge prayer warrior. I am so grateful to have known her. Prayers for peace for the family.

As the Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice of Holland, it was a joy to have Cork as a Volunteer. Her kind gentle manner was a gift to Hospice Families that she served. Her faith journey was evident in how she lived her life and served others.
