Cornell Brown

Cornell Brown was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 27, 1948, to the union of Joseph and Eloise Brown. Cornell joined in matrimony to Anneliese "Kitty" Wilhelm Brown. He was a dedicated and committed husband to his wonderful wife of many years. Cornell's dedication continued throughout his education and career. He attended school in Cleveland Ohio and Plaquemine, Louisiana where he impacted many lives throughout his career. Cornell was a professional, hardworking, frank and calm man. He built a remarkable career; professional and meticulous, Horticultural, landscaper, plumber, electrician just to name a few. A labor of love he worked with pride and integrity. Preceded in death by his parents, Eloise and Joseph Brown; and brothers, Norman and Henry. Cornell is survived by his cherished and devoted wife, Anneliese ("Kitty") Wilhelm Brown; brothers, Frederick and Gill; sisters, Estelle and Gloria; sister-in-Law, Kathy; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins, relatives, clients, employees and friends. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 9am until religious services at 11am. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Cornell will be remembered and missed. His legacy is one of love for his wife, work and community. His memories and life are a blessing and inspiration to many. The family appreciates and thanks you for your prayers and many comforting expressions extended by everyone. Your messages have provided strength.
