Cornell Farrahkan-Bey

Cornell (Brewster) Farrahkan-Bey Cornell Brewster (76), was born in Kansas City, Missouri to John W. Brewster and Cordelia Tolbert. He was raised by his stepmother Gladys Brewster and his father John Wesley Brewster in Higginsville, Missouri and Graduated Douglas High School, where he received many accolades as the football teams star halfback in the late sixties early 70's, upon graduation from high school he was drafted and went on to serve in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and received an honorable discharge. Deeply religious he converted to the Moorish faith and his name legally changed to reflect his religious convictions and became Cornell Farrahkan-Bey. He enjoyed spending time speaking with his family, especially his nephews regarding current events sporting. He is proceeded in transition by both parents and siblings, Laura Brewster Greer, Louise Brewster, John W. Brewster Jr, Donald Brewster, James Brewster, Charles Henry Brewster. He leaves to cherish his memory neices and nephews. A visitation was held on October 28, 2026 at the Elite Funeral Chapel 11525 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO.
