Corrine L. "Maietta" Young

Corrine "Corrina" (Maietta) Young of Reading, daughter of Saverio and Caterina Maietta, died on November 21st at the age of 89. She lived in Medford for many years and graduated from Medford High School in 1955. Corrine was an excellent cook and happiest when sitting around the table with her family sharing many Italian dinners and celebrations.

Corrine was the beloved mother of Corrine (Paul) Castrini and Judy Rubenstein. She was the cherished grandmother of Gina (Brian) Schriver and Marisa (Brendon) Dowling. She is also survived by four great grandchildren Corrina, Jack, Maya and Rose. In addition, she was predeceased by her two husbands Paul Balian and Joseph Young, son in-law Michael Rubenstein, and her siblings Lena, Anthony, William, Joseph, Saverio, Horace, Catherine, Marie, Ines and Richard. She also leaves her long-time devoted friend Sal Palmisano and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
