OK Cremation & Funeral Home, L.L.C.Cory Don Brooks was born February 10th, 1978 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Donald Ray and Betty Eileen (Pyle) Brooks. He went home to be with his Heavenly Father January 26, 2026, just short of his 48th birthday. He lived in Maud, Oklahoma for most of his life.
Cory went to work in the oilfield soon after high school driving a truck moving and setting up drilling rigs. Cory's love of music started in the crib and continued to grow through his life, when he learned to play the guitar and drums. Singing was a special love of his where he allowed to perform in various venues including the McSwain theater in Ada.
Cory got married in 1998. This union produced his three beautiful daughters, Lindsey, Jaida, and Maycie.
Cory is survived by his parents Don and Betty Brooks of Maud, OK. his daughters Lindsey and husband Ryan Bowers, of Maud, OK, Jaida and husband Shaun Culwell, of Seminole, OK, and Maycie and husband Kaden Crawford of Seminole, OK; brother Christopher Jared and Jennie Brooks of Maud, OK. His pride and joy were his grand babies, Rowdy, Adalynn and Maggie Culwell, Laityn and soon to be Cambri Bowers, and Kayce Crawford, Joslin, Jesse, Reina and Quinton Turner; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
His Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Lord's Community Church in Seminole Oklahoma.
