Cory Scott Cummings

A Fairfield resident, Mr. Cory Scott Cummings, age 32, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 17, 1992 in Elizabethtown to Ina Louise Jackson and Timothy Scott Cummings. Cory was a mechanic for Tim Cummings Diesel and Automotive Repair. He loved fishing and helping anyone that needed it. He is survived by his daughter, Calleigh Marie, his mother and stepfather, Ina (Troy) Gardner of Bloomfield, his father, Tim Cummings of Fairfield, and 8 siblings, Linda (Jason) Mink Shepherdsville, Kristen Cummings of Elizabethtown, Rachel Cummings of Bardstown, Jesse Cummings, Ashley Cummings, both of Fairfield, Jacob Carmicle, Georgia Carmicle, both of Bloomfield and Casey Cummings of Louisville. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation for Cory Scott Cummings will be 4:00-8:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Cremation will follow the services. The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
