Cory Buck Lambert age 48 of Dixon died Thursday Dec. 18, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born May 24, 1977 in Dixon the son of Edwin and Sybil (Smith) Lambert. Buck had worked as a crane operator at Dixon Iron and Metal. He loved country music and enjoyed playing the drums. He had a beloved collection of brass, enjoyed riding around town on his electric bike and attending services at the Worship Center.
He was preceded in death by parents and step father Tim Hudson.
Buck is survived by his sister Cameo Sweet of Dixon, niece Haley (Raymond) Sykes of Florida, nephew Hayden Sweet of Dixon, great niece Eliyana Jones and step sister Trina Hudson of Sterling.
Visitation will be on Friday Dec. 26, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon with Pastor Michael Cole officiating. A celebration of life will follow at 4:00 PM at the Dixon American Legion Hall. A memorial has been established to the family. Arrangements by the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.
