When I met Cory, he was a fairly new lineman for the phone company. A few years later, I had the pleasure of working with him as a design engineer. He was a hard worker and very caring of his co-workers in both job titles. The first time I met him, his sense of humor was ever present. Since I am 20 years older then him and not very computer savvy, he used to very patiently help me when I jammed up my computer. He complained, at least not to me. I used to jokingly refer to him as my work son. He will be greatly missed.

Cory was a young boy when I met him through his brother Lonnie. My heart goes out to the family of such a young man passing. In reading his obituary, it is clear that the young boy turned out to be loved by many and a wonderful man, father and friend. My condolences. May he rest in peace
