He was born on September 14, 1969, in Warren, the son of Coy Nelson Sr. and Thayla "Sue" (Pollock) Swiger, and attended West Farmington High School.
Coy dedicated over 40 years to life on the road as an over-the-road truck driver, working with many businesses throughout the valley.
He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family. He always put his loved ones first and cherished every moment spent with them, especially his grandchildren. Coy enjoyed building model cars and trucks and loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Justin Swiger, Elizabeth Penezich, Danielle Swiger, Jessica Reitz, Chas Hoover, Hope Hoover, and Christopher Hoover; fifteen grandchildren; his forever soulmate and fiancée, Mary Ann Reitz; his mother, Thayla "Sue" Swiger; eight sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Coy was preceded in death by his father, Coy Nelson Swiger Sr.; his grandson, Elijah Coy Swiger; and two brothers.
Per Coy's wishes, no services will be held at this time, and a caring cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren.
