About
Craig Benedict Obituary
Craig was born in St. Paul, MN on April 10, 1951, son of the late Howard N. and Suzanne M. (Kuehl) Benedict. Raised in Mentor, OH, he was a graduate of Mentor High School. He then attended the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received his bachelors and masters degrees in business. He then began his career in wealth management, working in Cincinnati for many years, eventually having a home office in Naples as well. He will be remembered as a devout Catholic and an avid golfer. He was the rock of his family and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his three sisters, Carolyn B. Schweikert of Newton, NC, Barbara Benedict of Chagrin Falls, OH and Vivian B. Aiello and her husband Frank of Naples; seven nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Brian S. Benedict.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 9, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church 5225 Golden Gate Parkway 34116. Burial will follow in Palm Royal Cemetery 6790 Vanderbilt Beach Rd. 34119
