I went to Middle School and High School with Craig. He happened to be in debate with my sister at the High School and I joined Freshman year. Craig was silly and fun and he helped me through a particularly hard time after my mother was killed in a car accident in `91. I happened to search him up today on a whim. It is nice to see the pictures and I´m glad he enjoyed his life more as an adult. I´m sorry I don´t have any pictures to add.

To Craig´s family I express my deepest condolences. Craig was special to all of us, including myself. The love of fishing brought us together in Junior High School and forged a bond that lasted his lifetime. The days we spent on Lake St Clair chasing Musky and the nights on the river catching walleye are some of my fondest memories. Craig was one my best friends who was always there for me. We had a special bond that fisherman share. There will never be a trip on the lake or the river where I don´t think about him. Rest easy my friend, you will never be forgotten.

Craig loved fishing, Echo, and Algonac. He was a great fisherman and taught me everything he knew. I will never forget all of the serene nights fishing, watching freighters, and seeing who could get their limit first. He won most of the time. Craig was Echo´s person and they loved each other with a bond so special that people used to say that they communicated in their own language. Smiles and laughter followed him everywhere. Craig was my best friend and teammate. He was wholeheartedly loved and will be deeply missed. I offer prayers of healing and my sincere condolences to Craig´s family during the difficult time.
