Craig Francis Danielsen

Craig Francis Danielsen, 71, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held to honor Craig’s life at a later date.

Craig was born on December 29, 1953, in Sanford, Florida, to the late John and Adele Danielsen. He proudly served his country as a dedicated member of the United States Army. Craig was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to everything he put his mind to. He loved the great outdoors and could often be found hunting or just enjoying the fresh air. Craig loved lounging in his living room watching Fox News and baseball, rarely missing a game.

Among his friends and family, he was affectionately known as “The Grill Master”, always ready to fire up the grill and create mouthwatering meals. Craig treasured the time spent with his family and loved ones, leaving behind countless cherished memories. His family will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his daughters, Julia Hall Ralston (Erik) of Arapahoe, NC and Amy Hammond Barrow of New Bern, NC; sons, Robert Hall of Gaston County, NC, Jon Hammond (Amanda) of New Bern, NC, and Chris Hammond (Samantha Sawyer) of New Bern, NC; sisters, Linnea Adele Danielsen and Nancy Murphy, both of Hawthorne, FL; and 25 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Danielsen; life partner of 21 years, Tina Roadman; and daughters, Robin and April Hall.
