Craig Alan Gravatt April 3, 1980 – May 22, 2025
Craig Alan Gravatt, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on May 22, 2025, at the age of 45.
Born on April 3, 1980, in
Houston, Texas, Craig was the second son of Wayne and Debbie Gravatt. He graduated from Jersey Village High School in 1998 and remained close to his roots throughout his life.
Craig had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in darts, shooting pool and fishing whenever he had the opportunity, spending family moments floating the river, enjoying the gun range, and simply hanging out with those closest to him. He shared a special bond with his dog Lula, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.
Craig was preceded in death by his loving father, Wayne Gravatt, in 2007. He is survived by his devoted mother, Debbie Gravatt; his brothers, Colby Gravatt (Kori) and Kristen Gravatt (Melanie); his cherished nieces and nephews-Kennedy, Kaleigh, Kelsey, Chase, Connor, and Carlee; and his grandmother, Barbara Walters, Aunts Chris (Bill), Pam (Glen), Linda and Kathleen (Chuck), and many cousins. His presence, laughter, inflated stories and quiet strength will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Craig's family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and the memories they shared. The family will receive friends at 2 PM on Friday, May 30th, with a Celebration of Life following at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home. The family asks that you take a moment to enjoy the outdoors or lend a helping hand to someone in need-both things Craig would have done without hesitation
