Craig Charles Harrison, age 85, passed away on December 9, 2025. He was born on January 18, 1940, in
St. Louis, Missouri, to parents, Charles Henry Harrison and Ruth Bertha (Earlin) Harrison.
Craig was a proud graduate of the University of Missouri (Mizzou), where he earned a degree in Business. He married the love of his life, Sue Ann Williams, and together they made their home in
Houston, Texas, beginning a remarkable life partnership that spanned 51 years.
Craig began his professional career with Papco Paint Company before discovering his true calling in real estate. He became a Realtor with Baxter & Swinford Realtors, where he learned both residential and commercial real estate under the mentorship of the highly respected Mr. Baxter and Mr. Swinford. He later carried that expertise into New Home Sales in The Woodlands, where he became well known for his integrity, professionalism, and success.
Deeply involved in the community, Craig proudly participated each year in the Fourth of July Parade and supported numerous local events and fundraisers. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own real estate business on FM 1960. He later joined Century 21, where he spent many years in their National Franchise Department, further solidifying his reputation as an exceptional salesman. Craig had a natural gift for sales and was successful in every endeavor he pursued.
Above all else, Craig's greatest love was his wife, Susie, and his family. Outside of work, he found joy in fishing and restoring antique cars, earning numerous awards at car shows throughout the years.
Craig is survived by his brother, Ross Harrison of Dallas, Texas; his sister-in-law, Sheron Granere; and her children, Michelle and Sean, who were much more than niece and nephew to him - they were family in every sense of the word.
Craig will be fondly remembered for his warmth, dedication, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind with all who knew and loved him.
Celebrating the Life of My Uncle
For the past three years, Uncle and I shared a home and a journey one marked by love, laughter, and courage as we faced Dementia together. He was more than family; he was my mentor, my confidant, and one of the most positive influences in my life. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering spirit shaped me in ways I will cherish forever.
The last week has been an emotional process of saying goodbye, and I am deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support from family and friends. It has reminded me just how many lives Uncle touched.
If you feel led to honor his memory, a donation to Alzheimer's & Dementia Foundation research would mean the world. Having walked this journey for five years and seeing how quickly this disease progresses, Uncle and I often spoke about our hope to support efforts to find a cure. Your generosity would carry forward a dream we shared.
I was truly blessed to have this extraordinary man in my life. His love, laughter, and legacy will live on in all of us who knew him.
