Craig Alan Huxford, 59 of Ironton passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2024. He was born in Mankato on April 16, 1964 to Gerald and Shirley (Burmeister) Huxford.
Craig graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1982. He was a former employee of Trus Joist Weyerhaeuser with 20 years of service. Currently he was employed with Anagram International in Eden Prairie as plant coordinator. Craig found enjoyment in hunting, fishing and being at his cabin.
Craig is survived by his son, Andrew Huxford of Como, CO; his two daughters, Kirsten Huxford of Sartell and Morgan Huxford of Crosby; his parents, Gerald and Shirley Huxford of Deerwood; his sister, Melanie (Tom) Van Hon of Northfield; six grandchildren and his canine companion, Indy.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood. Entombment will be in the Salem Lutheran Church Columbarium. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time the service on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral home in Crosby. Livestreaming can be found on facebook for Salem Lutheran Church, Deerwood.
