Craig Stephen Paden, age 60, went home to be with Jesus on September 23, 2025. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on February 26, 1965, to Paul and Lucie Paden. Craig grew up in Pensacola, Florida, and had several jobs throughout his life, the most important being his service to the United States. Craig served in the Army from January 3, 1985, to September 13, 1991. He was a combat Veteran of Operation Desert Shield and then Operation Desert Storm. He proudly served the country he loved. Craig was a member of Olive Baptist Church and later East Side Baptist Church. Craig had a passion for bowling with his team, The Big Dogs. He enjoyed many evenings bowling at DeLuna Lanes. He is survived by his brothers and sister, Chris Paden, Derek Paden (Julie) and Sheri St. Michel (Jeff). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Kayla Corder, Christopher and Kaitlyn Paden and Richie Paden. Jared, Hannah, Rebekah, and Daniel St. Michel. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, Lewis Paden. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. A Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, with Pastor Jim Liberacki officiating.
