Craig Ritchie was born in Philadelphia to Robert and Mildred Ritchie on May 27, 1945. He grew up on Heather Road in Upper Darby with his brother Bob. He was the Vice President of his class in Upper Darby High School. He moved to Drexel Hill with his family and went to Drexel University, where he got his Bachelor's in accounting. He also played for the Drexel Dragons basketball team. In his senior year of college, he got married to Joanne, his first wife, and had his first child, Heather, in 1969. Craig also served in the Armed Forces in the Army Reserves for six years. He eventually moved back to Upper Darby, where he worked in sales and then got divorced. On April 4, 1980, he met the love of his life, Peg McNamara. They got married in 1982 and had their son, Danny, in 1987. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for over 25 years. Then he became an entrepreneur with jewelry and antiques. In his spare time Craig went to concerts and listened to music especially when it came to the Grateful Dead .Craig welcomed his one and only grandchild in 2018 Zelda, from his son Danny and his wife Farrah. He then became a stay-at-home grandfather, where he lived the remainder of his life with a household full of love.
