Our family is heartbroken over the loss of Craig. For over 40 years, Craig worked with us in our family businesses-Putt-Putt, Opening Break, and Great Games-but he was never just an employee. Craig was family. Craig was a friend.

He followed our father faithfully, wherever the business took them-from Columbia, SC, to Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Brazil, and finally, San Antonio, TX. His loyalty, integrity, work ethic, and honesty were unparalleled. Craig was incredibly skilled at his job and was always ready for any task that came his way. He never hesitated, even when asked to take Dad to the airport for 5 a.m. flights.

But more than all of that, we will always be grateful for the way Craig loved our father. Craig looked after Dad if he wasn´t feeling well. Craig would bring him special treats-like Klondike bars-and balloons on his birthday. And many Saturdays, the two of them would spend time together, "tailgating" while watching Gamecock football. Those "small acts of kindness" meant so much to Dad and our family. Craig will always have a special place in our hearts.

With sympathy and love during this difficult time,
Jimmy, Mel, Jay and Shay Martin

You will forever be missed, Craig. I think of you and our talks every single day. Even though it hasn´t been a week, I miss you more than words can say.

I miss how sweet and thoughtful you were. You understood the trauma I went through in a way no one else ever could. In the 15 years I knew you, you showed me nothing but love and compassion.

I pray we will meet again one day, my friend. I love you, and you will always hold a place in my heart. Rest in peace-may your fight finally be over.
