I was shocked to hear the news of Sen. Thomas's death in the newspaper and on tv. God Bless Craig and his family. i have had the pleasure of meeting and visiting him at the capital quite a few times. his wife susan was my government teacher in high school. my condolances go out to the family and friends of this wonderful guy. RIP Sen. Thomas.

You will be soarly missed sir but you are in company with the Elite now. May thoughts are with the Family.

During these hard times it is very hard to lose a good man who led by example and expounded conservative American values. When the Lord calls it is our next duty to go with him. It is hard for us to understand sometimes but we must go on. On January 22, 2007 we lost our son-in-law in Iraq. Spec. Nicholas Brown was in 2/7 Cav of 1st Cavalry Division. He left behind a young wife and a newborn son. He felt he was serving his country and no one else could do what he had to. Mr. Thomas was in this same category, he did what others could or would not do. We thank you for your service to your country. Please accept our prayers and sympathies during these difficult times. We, the people of Wyoming, have lost an honest, kind, gentle man that represented us, the people of Wyoming, to the fullest. Our family was very proud to vote for Craig Thomas.
We will miss Craig Thomas when we do the Relay for Life walk in August. Craig and Susan have been there walking when my family was walking the relay. He alway had a word and a smile for everyone.

My deepest sympathies to the Thomas family. I live in PA and I happened to be reading my late husband's guest book messages. I didn't realize that I was forwarded to this site but I probably was brought here for a reason. I hope I am not bothering you with my message. I know what a battle Senator Thomas had to endure. I lost my husband to cancer 10 months ago. He fought for four years, not missing a day of work, leaving the chemo chair to go to the office. His strength and bravery were amazing. He was in hopsice care for three weeks and quietly died in my arms, in our bedroom, last Aug. 2nd. He told me from the start; "this is a disease, it will kill me, but I will not give up without a heck of a fight.", and he didn't. He fought until his last breath. Losing my husband is like not really being completely alive myself, but I continue to attempt to be strong for my children as that is what he wanted. Please know I will pray for you, as I'm sure that Senator Thomas is in heaven with God and my husband Larry. God bless you.
