Chris, it was heartbreaking to hear of your passing just a week after my brother passed of COVID complications. I spoke to you in July and you and I were going to become full time bingo partners since you were now retired. I am so sorry you didn't get to enjoy your retirement. I can honestly say you were one person who truly deserved it. All the countless hours, dedication and devotion not just to the department but to the other part time jobs you held as well. You were always such a good, kind, and fair boss. Regardless of what went on at work, you were a great friend as well. You were there for us no matter what day or time it was. You were a big part of the department and you will be greatly missed by all who knew you. I know that you will be up there with my other wonderful boss and friend, Cliff Rowland. Tell that big teddy bear that I miss him. We had so many great times at the department and after hours as well. I remember there was a time some of us called in sick to go gamble at the Texas Treasure and our trips to Las Vegas. We just had so much fun. LOL. It was great! Those were the days. You will be meeting my brother up there and he loved to gamble as much as you did. LOL. You will be missed by so many. Rest in Peace in that beautiful place you will now call home. Until we meet again. Vern
