Crissy Brown was born January 7, 1995, in Helena, Arkansas to Hezekiah Brown and Delois Carter Brown. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a lifelong member of Greater Powerhouse Church of God in Christ of West Helena, Arkansas under the leadership of Bishop Alex J. Smith and 1st lady, Missionary Clinton J. Smith, then later, Superintendent K.L. Smith and Lady Barbara Smith. Crissy was educated in the Helena-West Helena Public School system.

Crissy Brown departed this life much too soon on April 17, 2025. She was a joy to be around and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her, especially her parents, Hezekiah Brown and Delois Brown; her children, Aubrey Nicole Brown and Branson Hillard; her siblings, Jason Carter, Anthony Brown, William Brown, Teresa Brown, Angela Brown, Jenette Brown, Kimberly Brown, Gabriel Brown, Marian Brown and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Crissy was preceded in death by an older brother, Marcus T. Brown, Sr., on September 21, 2020.
