Cristina Cella de Hernández, conocida cariñosamente como «Tita», nació el 22 de noviembre de 1942 en Caracas, Venezuela. Emprendió un hermoso viaje por la vida que culminó con su fallecimiento el 13 de septiembre de 2025 en Phoenix, Arizona. Tita vivió una vida llena de amor, aventuras y una fe inquebrantable como orgullosa católica.
Desde muy temprana edad, Tita sintió una profunda pasión por los viajes, y a menudo compartía la belleza del mundo con su familia y amigos. Sus aventuras no consistían solo en explorar nuevos lugares, sino que eran oportunidades para entablar amistades duraderas y crear recuerdos inolvidables. Independientemente del lugar al que fuera, la personalidad afable de Tita atraía a la gente, y era conocida por su capacidad para hacer que todos se sintieran especiales e incluidos.

She embarked on a beautiful journey through life that culminated in her passing on September 13, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. Tita lived a life filled with love, adventure, and an unwavering faith as a proud Catholic.
From her earliest days, Tita possessed a deep passion for travel, often sharing the beauty of the world with her family and friends. Her adventures were not just about exploring new places; they were opportunities to develop lasting friendships and create cherished memories. Regardless of where she went, Tita's approachable personality drew people to her, and she was known for her ability to make everyone feel special and included.
Throughout her life, Tita emphasized the importance of family; she adored spending time with her loved ones. She was blessed with a close-knit family, which included her children, Monica Hernandez, Jose Manuel Dominguez, Cristina Hernandez, Jose Gregorio Hernandez, Loiza Martinez, Adriana Hernandez, and Jose Nunez. Her grandchildren—Jesus Manuel Dominguez Hernandez, Victor Manuel Roddes Hernandez, Adriana Ortiz, Arnaldo Ortiz, Jose Gregorio Hernandez Martinez, and Cris Angel Hernandez Martinez—were the lights of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Although Tita's physical presence is no longer with us, her vibrant spirit and kind soul will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a zest for life that will inspire generations to come.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life during a visitation on September 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, AZ 85323. In this time of remembrance, we gather to share stories, honor her memory, and reflect on a life so beautifully lived.
