Cristina Amber Hernandez age 36, a resident of Taos, passed away January 19, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Herlinda Enciso; grandmother Edita Archila; and Uncle Luis Enciso.
Cristina was born and grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She often came to Taos to visit relatives, where she eventually moved to. Cristina was currently employed by Kit Carson Electric. She will be dearly missed by all whose heart she touched.
Cristina is survived by her daughters Isabella Maria Lara and Cassandra Herlinda Lara; mother Herlinda Rico & stepfather Alberto Rico; father Edwin Hernandez; brother Alberto Rico, Jr, sister Alexis Rico, and brother Edwin Hernandez, Jr. Plus many other loving relatives and cherished friends.
Public visitation will be on Wednesday January 28, 2026 from 4-5:30pm followed by the rosary at 5:30pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Cristina will be laid to rest in her hometown in Los Angeles CA.
