Cristina M. Kunicki

1937 - 2022

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, our dear, wonderful Aunt Cris (Cristina M. Kunicki), peacefully slipped away to her next adventure. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, nun, teacher, reporter, writer, Realtor, astrologer and just a down-to-earth beautiful soul. Those closest to her knew her as the bright shining beacon she was and always will be. She was the beloved aunt of Stanley G. (Lisa) Kleja and Marianne (Fran) Sherwood, the late Francis (Beth, surviving) Kleja, the late Barb (Rich, surviving) Pajer; proud godmother and great-aunt of Andrea Sherwood and great-aunt to Stan A. (Mary) Kleja and Jessica Kleja; daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Kedzierski) Kunicki; and the loving sister of the late Agnes Mazur, Dorothy Kleja, Regina Kunicki and Mary Kunicki. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, niece (Barb) and nephew (Francis). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Mercy (https://www.sistersofmercy.org/).
