Cristobal Castillo Licea

Cristobal Castillo Licea was promoted and was called home to be with Our Lord, on Monday, December 16, 2024. He was 101 years old. He was born in Yurécuaro-Michoacán, Mexico on January 30,1923.
Cris was a devoted follower of Christ, a faithful servant of Our Heavenly Father, and fellow man. He was lovingly called, "Papa." As an executive chef specializing in banquets, he loved to cook for his loved ones, often gathering us around the dining room table retelling stories, and jokes. What he loved most, was to spend time with family, as well as reading his Bible. Cris was a faithful servant, devoted to always seeking God, praying, and interceding for others, even those that stopped by.
Cristobal was preceded in death by his parents Wenceslao Licea and Maria Magdalena Castillo, his siblings Efigenia, and Raymundo, his former wife Ofelia Estrada their children, Heriberto, Evagelina, and Olivia Ponce, and his beloved wife Maria Socorro Licea.
Cristobal is survived by his children Josie Marquez, Christy Fernandez, his eldest son Heriberto Licea Estrada (Eva), Sergio (Anna)Licea, his daughter Maria Magdalena (Nina) Licea-Leos (Antonio Leos), his youngest son Cristobal Jesus (Amber)Licea, Margarita Licea Nguyen (Guy Nguyen), along with 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 7 great, Great grandchildren. He stepped in to fill the role of a Dad to many of his grandchildren, nephews, and neices, and countless Spiritual children without discrimination. He loved each as his own whether they were blood or not, and will be missed and loved by every single one.
Please join us in celebrating his life. The actual service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, and will begin promptly at 3pm sharp. The viewing will proceed following the service and will last until 8pm. We look forward to seeing you.
