She seemed to be such a gift to all of her family. She gave so much love. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of remembrance of such a great lady.

Crocifissa was my sister-in-law for nearly 50 years. In all that time I never heard her raise her voice in anger or speak badly about another person. My husband, Pino, was her is her youngest brother and she treated him as though he were her own child. The love they shared between them was beautiful to see. Anyone who knew her at all knew family was everything to her. I loved to hear her tell about the war years in Sicily before she met and married Mario. Imagine coming to a new land not speaking the language or knowing anyone but your husband, She was a brave and beautiful soul and we will all miss her so very much. Without Crocifissa none of us would be here together to celebrate her quiet and humble life. I feel so grateful to have been in her life and she in ours...
we will never forget her...
