C. Ronald Green, 84, of Priceville, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his residence. He was born to Clifford Green and Oma Foshee Green on August 16, 1941, in Decatur, Alabama. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Joyce Matthews Green; son Jeffrey Green (Jennifer); grandson Raymond Green (Kyla); step-grandchildren Josh Lahr (Elisa) and Aundrea Baer (Cody); five great grandchildren; sister Carolyn Colquett (Guy), brother Randall Green, and sister-in-law Jo Ann Green. He was also Pop-Paw to Jordan Serroels. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Donald Green, and in-laws Raymond and Lucille Matthews.
Ron graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, The University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Master's Degree in Business Administration, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville with a PhD in Computer Science. He retired from The US Army Space and Strategic Defense Command. He was a member of East Highland Baptist Church in Hartselle, AL.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, from 1-3 pm with the funeral following at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle with Bro. Walter Blackman and Bro. Jarrod Helms officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to East Highland Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 888, Hartselle, AL. 35640.
Pallbearers will be Ken Temples, Tony Logan, David Jones, Preston Hall, Ronnie Burlison, and Larry Long.
