He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Francisco and Antonia Ontiveros.
Cruz is survived with love and gratitude by his children: Cruz Roberto Ontiveros Jr. (Therese), Gina Marie Gutierrez, Lucy "Lizzie" Lopez (Andy), and Juana Lucero. He was the proud grandfather of thirteen grandchildren, with another soon to arrive, and he cherished the joy of becoming a great-grandfather as well.
Cruz Roberto was a man full of life, known for his sense of humor and the way he could brighten any room with his jokes. He loved to dance, cheer for his Dallas Cowboys, and most of all, spend time surrounded by his family, who were the heart of his world.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and treasured memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
