Crystal Abels Obituary
Crystal L. Abels, age 71, of Celina, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born on November 26, 1954, in Celina, to the late Roger A. and Lucille C. (Coats) Smith.
Crystal is survived by her loving children, Heather (Robert) McDonald of Arvada, Colorado; Angela (Matthew) Kemper of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Travis Abels of Sidney, Montana; and Monica (Tim) Krug of Celina; seven cherished grandchildren; and her brother, Todd (Kathy) Smith of Coldwater.
She was a 1972 graduate of Celina High School. Crystal deeply loved her family and treasured time spent with them. Being a dedicated homemaker was a role she took great pride in. She also enjoyed listening to music, which brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.
In keeping with her wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. Crystal will be laid to rest at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
