Crystal Chon, age 53, of Laurel, DE, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025. She was born on June 7, 1972, in Seoul, South Korea.

Crystal was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2017 and bravely fought with strength and resilience until the end and passed peacefully. Despite the struggles and adversities, she was surrounded by close friends from church and caretakers who supported her daily. She has taught us that the true beauty and happiness in life is defined by sharing. She was full of empathy and generosity and was very thankful to those who stayed by her side during the darkest times of her life.

She is survived by her mom, two sisters Jae and Helen, brother-in-law James, Jim, Jinsil, and Mrs. Son, who are all very good and close friends, and many other friends.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM with a public visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, DE.

Immediately following the funeral services, the family would like to invite everyone to the Stargate Diner for some refreshment and fellowship.
