Crystal Rae Evers, known to most as “Crissy” of Ocean Isle Beach passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, while at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Bolivia, NC at the age of 52. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Earl Evers and Patricia Pait Evers, and brother-in-law Keith Toler.
Crissy was the loving mother to her dear son, Hunter and her lovely daughter, Hayley, of the home, devoted sister to Tina Toler of Fayetteville, and Patty Evers of Elizabethtown and caring friend to a host of cousins and friends.
Crissy loved her family and her children deeply. She gave unselfishly to everyone around her and would take the shirt off her back if someone needed it. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and coworkers whether at Captain Archie's listening to music or sitting on the beach on a beautiful sunny day. At other times, she was found courtside, rooting for her home team, the East Bladen Girls Basketball team. Wherever Crissy was you knew there was going to be plenty of love and laughter. She will be missed most for her big heart, her charming personality and her tenacity for life.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Center Road Baptist Church in Bladenboro followed by a funeral service at 4 pm with the Reverend Warren Hill officiating. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Patty Evers, 450 Hayfield Street, Elizabethtown, North Carolina.
