On July 9, 2024, the world lost a remarkable soul, Crystal Lynn Jones. She was born on June 24, 1993, in Kansas City, Missouri, and passed away in Independence, Missouri. She was 31 years old.
Graduating from Herndan with a focus on cosmetology, Crystal's passion for beauty and aesthetics shone through in all aspects of her life. However, it was her thoughtfulness and creativity that truly set her apart. Known for handcrafting heartfelt gifts for her loved ones, Crystal's generosity and care knew no limits. Crystal dedicated her career to caring for little ones at Spectrum Station's infancy room, where she poured her heart into nurturing and overseeing the children she adored so much. Her love and compassion knew no bounds when it came to the young lives she touched. In her free time, Crystal found solace in spending quality moments with her family, especially her beloved kids. Her interests ranged from crystals to classic icons of the 50s like Alfred Hitchcock and Marilyn Monroe. These passions painted a colorful picture of a woman who appreciated beauty in all its forms. A fearless and feisty personality with a heart of gold, Crystal was fiercely protective of her loved ones. Her infectious sense of humor could brighten even the darkest days, bringing laughter and joy to all those around her. She was the epitome of a loving and nurturing mother to her children, being their biggest cheerleader in every endeavor.
Crystal's passing is preceded by her grandfather; Rex Gust, her cousin; Timothy Savage, her uncle; Rory Savage, her sister-in-law; Allie Guljas, and many other extended relatives. Her legacy lives on through her husband; Andre Jones Jr., her daughter; Adriahna Jo Mullins, her son; Vance Lee Mullins, her step-daughter; Isabella Mekel Jones, her parents; Chad and Kristeena Cloud, her brother; Chad Cloud II, her grandparents; Pam and Mike Coon, the father of her children; Tyler Mullins, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Services to honor and celebrate Crystal's life will be held at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. A visitation is scheduled for July 22, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A procession to Mound Grove Cemetery will immediately follow.
