Crystal Diane Morgan

 

Crystal Diane Morgan, 60, of Clovis, NM, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 at Steed Todd Funeral Home. A “Celebration of Life” will be Thursday, Nov. 2 at 1:00 pm at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Kennedy officiating.

Crystal was born in Redding, CA to Loretta Stapp and Kenneth Morgan on Jan. 1, 1963. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending all services and fellowships. She loved reading her Bible, and had read it through 15 times. Crystal was a “Prayer Warrior”. She was quick to tell family and friends she would be praying for them. No matter how big or small the need. She enjoyed spending time with her friends….shopping, going to lunch, getting a pedicure, and going to the movies. Crystal loved playing Yahtzee, and was referred by her family as the “Yahtzee Queen”.

Crystal is preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, her grandparents, and several aunts & uncles. She is survived by her three sisters: Cyndi Sanders and husband David of Clovis, NM. Charlotte Derryberry and husband Jimmy of Lone Grove, OK. Sandy Lopez and husband Barney of Belt, MT Four nephews: Bryan Sanders of Mandan, ND. Justin Sanders and wife Cassi of Clovis, NM. Randy Lopez of Parachute, CO. Garrett Adams of Belt, MT. Four nieces: Kristen Lewis and husband Jarrod of Durant, OK. Megan White and husband Kyle of Lone Grove, OK. Kacie Lopez Leggett and husband Randy of Russellville, AR. Courtney Adams of Enid, OK. Ten great nieces/nephews: Mason Lewis, Lexi Gray, Morgan Lewis, Creidence Sanders, Landon Gray, Gunner Lopez, Londynn Gray, Gabriella Sanders, Xander Adams, and Kyleigh White. Aunt Marilyn Dottle of Clovis, NM and Uncles Larry Stapp of Clovis, NM and Dwain Harty of Redding, CA. Numerous cousins and lifelong best friend Twila Rutter.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Derryberry, Justin Sanders, Gary Pierce, and Dan Pierce.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Crystal’s Church Family.

Memorials may be made to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Crystal Morgan.

The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Macapinlac and the Nurses at the Cancer Center, PRMC Hospice, Amber care, Pastor Danny Kennedy

and wife Mandy, family and all of Crystal’s special faithful friends. A special thank you to her beloved friend, Debbie Snipes for all she did for Crystal on a daily basis.
