Crystal Lynn Stroud, age 66, of Rock Hill, South Carolina passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 and the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
She was born on May 2, 1959 in Green County, KY to the late Jimmy Joe Buley and Minnie Dorothy Smith Buley. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her partner, Frankie Ray Bunch; 3 sisters, Mary Sexton, Francis Carman, Ruby Stearman; 3 brothers, James Buley, Robert Buley, and Bobby Joe Buley.
She was known for dancing and singing. She knew all the words to "You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man." She also loved any and all pizza and loved to eat. She always wanted me to send her something "perty" as she called it. She also was an avid lover of jewelry. She would trade anything to get piece of jewelry.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessaman Rae (Jessie) Greenacre (Jerry) of Muldraugh, KY; son, Jerry Bunch of Muldraugh, KY; sister, Catherine Price of Elizabethtown, KY; brother, Tommy Buley (Sandra) of Magnolia, KY; and sister Betty Miller of Elizabethtown, KY. She has 4 grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Colten, and Franklin; 1 great-granddaughter, Mylah; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her caregiver/sister-in-law of many years, Phyllis Carswell (Tommy) of South Carolina.
Per her wishes, cremation was chosen. We will have a celebration of life at a later date.
