Crystalyn Shaundé Rorie
Warner Robins – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Crystalyn Shaundé Rorie. She went to be with the Lord on the evening of Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the age of 36.
Born at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, Crystalyn was the beloved daughter of Scott and Tina. Affectionately known by many as Shanney, Princess, Babygirl, Pooh, Shandalyn, Baby Beyoncé and Chrisy Pooh, she brought laughter and light wherever she went. Crystalyn was hilarious and caring, but when it was time to get to business, she often used a no-nonsense approach; her spirit was unforgettable.
Crystalyn accepted Christ at City of Refuge in Ft. Drum, New York, at an early age and was baptized, beginning a lifelong walk of faith. Her educational journey started in Darmstadt, Germany, where she learned to speak German and developed a love for culture and learning.
A talented musician, Crystalyn played five instruments before finding her true passion with the clarinet and joining the marching band at Northside High School. She graduated with the Class of 2007 and later furthered her education by earning an Associate’s Degree in Medical Terminology.
With her compassionate heart, Crystalyn worked in hospitality as a private caretaker, behavioral health, and medical billing and encoding, always serving others with dedication and kindness.
She was an amazing cook, loved to dance, travel, shop for the best deals, and was an avid moviegoer. Crystalyn truly was the life of any party, filling every room with joy, laughter, and warmth.
She leaves behind her one and only amazing, smart, talented, kind-hearted son, Mr. Jalen Clark, (Rorie) who was the pride and joy of her life, who is affectionately known as Joc, J man, and peanut butter.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
Crystalyn was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lee Johnson III, grandmother, Shianne McKnight, and great-grandmother, Arnglean Taylor, who all resided in Detroit, Michigan.
She is survived by her her only son, Jaylen Clark of Warner Robins, GA; parents, Scott and Tina Rorie, of Centerville, GA; brother, Christopher Rorie (Khadijra) of Centerville, GA; grandmother, Patricia Johnson of Detroit, MI; uncle, Lee Johnson IV (Patricia, Mychael) of Belleville, MI; aunt, Talisha Dabney (Courtney, CJ) of Fayetteville, GA; aunt, Camille D. Ford (Brandon, Brianna) of Columbus, GA; three nieces, Shianne Rorie, Gabrielle Rorie, and Lauren Rorie; her only nephew, Christopher Rorie; aunt, Beatrice Taylor Williams of Detroit, MI; and a host of amazing aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
