Curt Puckett

Curt Douglas "Doug" Puckett was born on April 9, 1956, in Jackson, Michigan, to Curtis and Garnett (Hackworth) Puckett. He enjoyed a life full of adventure, filled with lifelong friends from all over the country, and was cherished deeply by his family.
Doug co-founded RLW Analytics on September 1, 1990, and proudly celebrated 35 years in energy consulting. Known by colleagues as a thoughtful leader and natural connector, he had a gift for building meaningful relationships. Doug was born to socialize, to listen, and to win people over with his kindness, humor, and genuine interest in their lives.
He will be remembered for his ability to make everyone feel valued, as though they were family. Doug was a world traveler; he and his wife were frequently jetting off in search of the perfect dive bar with a guy in the corner playing guitar. Doug was a friend to many and family to all. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, laughter, and joy that he brought wherever he went.
Doug is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cynthia (Cipta) Puckett; his sister, Jeanne (Larry) Samons; and many nieces and nephews. He is also remembered with love by countless friends and co-workers around the world.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cascade Manor House in Jackson, MI. Please join us for cocktails wearing your best parrot head attire. All are encouraged to share memories.
Doug was a giving person. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Cascade Humane Society, Jackson Animal Shelter, Benefit for Ginger Cipta Hardy, or the charity of your choosing in Doug's memory.
