Funeral Service for Curtis "Crabby" Cullison, 55, of Vian, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on February 14, 1969, in Wichita, Kansas, to his parents, Charlotte Echols and Steve Cullison and passed away on December 13, 2024 in Vian, Oklahoma. Curtis's life was one filled with passion and dedication, both in his profession as an electrician and in his personal pursuits.
He married Karen (Smith) Cullison in 2012. He was a dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he found joy in drawing various Steeler items and enjoyed spending time outdoors, often piddling around his yard with his dogs. His enthusiasm for the team was a testament to his spirited personality and zest for life. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Cullison; step-son, Corey Smith and his wife, Cristina, of Vian, OK; grandson, Barrett Smith; mother, Charlotte Echols of Sallisaw, OK; father, Steve Cullison; as well as numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Curtis was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Crabtree; and his grandparents, Retha and Quinton Echols.
Active pallbearers will be James McCoy, Damon Glass, Nat Surber, Marty Jones, Jeff Johnson, and Corey Smith.
Viewing will be Noon - 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
