Publish in a newspaper

Curtis Ray Fetty was born on November 16, 1946, in Santa Cruz, California, to Raphael Fetty and Beatrice Fetty. He grew up along the California coast, later settling in Yuba County before retiring in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Curtis proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his service, he built a career as a certified arborist, dedicating his skills and care to the natural world. A man of generosity and hard work, Curtis was known for mowing lawns for his neighbors and lending a hand wherever it was needed. He especially enjoyed taking his dog, Lola, to the Fort Gibson Dam and to Braum's for ice cream. He loved to tell stories about his youth in Santa Cruz, and he cherished camping and fishing in his younger days. Above all, Curtis treasured his family. He is the proud father of five children and the grandfather of ten. His legacy is one of love, service, and kindness, a loving friend, father, and provider who never hesitated to share with anyone in need. Curtis peacefully passed on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Muskogee with his family by his bedside. A family conducted memorial services for Curtis will be held 11AM Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Community Gospel Center in Fort Gibson, OK. The family of Curtis Ray Fetty has entrusted his care and cremation to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home and Crematory, Muskogee, OK. 918-910-8883.
