Forestville: Curtis L. Hall, 72, a lifelong resident of Forestville (Arkwright), passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 peacefully at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Silver Creek on August 4, 1953, the son of the late Clyde L. and Mary (Deering) Hall.

Curtis was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1971 and was a Steel Worker for the former Al-Tech Specialty Steel in Dunkirk for 25 years until it's closure in 2001. He then began a career as a truck driver for Norm Hills Trucking until his retirement in 2011. Curtis loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, collecting & restoring old tractors, attending auctions and catching a good yard sale.

Survivors include his loving partner Pat M. Colicchia of Forestville, his sister Cheryl L. (Tom) MacKinder of Greenhurst, NY & Owasso, OK, two brothers Carter L. (Sandy) Hall of Forestville, NY & Seguin, TX and Craig L. Hall, of Greenhurst, NY. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.

The Hall family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Sood's staff – especially Mary, Amber & Cassie, as well as Curtis's Hospice team – Denise, Carol, Heather & ShyAnne and his neighbors & friends. Their kindness, compassion & empathy has no limits and without their help & support we could never have made it through this. Thank you all so much.

As per Curtis' wishes, there will be no services observed at this time. Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorials may be made to Forestville Fire Department, Inc. PO Box 299, Forestville, NY 14062 or to a charity of one's choice.
