Curtis Hester Obituary
Curtis Randy Hester, 72, husband of Rhonda Barnette Hester, of Easley, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Beonar and Thelma Reeves Hester.
Mr. Hester was very athletic and loved to exercise: lifting weights, running, and riding bicycles. He retired from Otis Elevator Company after 47 years of service.
In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, Mr. Hester is survived by his sons, Randall Scott Hester and Christopher Randolph Hester, both of Easley; his sister, Judy McCoy of Easley; grandchildren, Hannah Brookins, Elizabeth Hester, Richey Hester, and Randall Dewight Hester; great-grandchildren, Braylon Brookins and Ella Kate McGee; and a nephew, Tony Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Drive Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126.
