Mr. Hutzley was my 4th grade teacher at Grant Elementary School in Colton. I have such happy memories of him. He was funny and had an incredible singing voice. He loved to sing for us all of the time and always took to the front of the classroom every day to entertain us with songs from Elvis Presley, Jim Nabors etc. My particular favorite was "The Impossible Dream". He would belt it out with so much passion and emotion that the sound of his voice still lingers on in my memory forever. Rest in Peace Mr. Hutzley and I know that you are still singing high up in the heavens.
Your former student,
Michelle Davalos

Although I only met Curt a few times, he seemed like a friendly guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his sister, Rosemary, who is dealing with a lot of responsibilities right now. I pray for strength for her to carry out her duties and peace in her heart.
