Curt was one of the kindest people I have met and he looked out for so many people. He encouraged me in my tennis game and helped me laugh at myself when my shots went embarrassingly awry. He strung my rackets. He always stopped to chat on his walks around Purcell Park. He invited and encouraged me to try pickleball, and I was planning to take him up on it. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Curt and wish I had taken the time to thank him for spreading so much joy and enthusiasm in the racket sports community and beyond. I send heartfelt condolences to all of his family.

Curt was such a caring and kind person. He took care of the tennis and pickleball courts in Harrisonburg over the years. We all owe him a debt of gratitude. Rest in peace! God bless.
