Curtis Glen Wilder, age 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was born in Beech Grove on July 29, 1953 to Robert and Clara Louise Wilder, both of whom precede him in death. Curtis loved to sell cars, play golf, was a huge Chicago Cubs fan, and was known for his skills in mowing the grass. His favorite thing to do after work was to relax in the pool with a beer while listening to country music.Curtis is survived by his companion: Calleen Wilder; sons: Ryan Thomas Stevens, and Devin Ryan Wilder; granddaughter: Courtney Tutterrow; as well as sisters: Midge Akers, and Bette Hanscom.He is also preceded in death by his step-daughter: Alicia Stevens.A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, March 15, 2019, at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, 46227, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

I went school with Curt. He was one of the nicest classmates to know. He and Lloyd seemed to always be best friends with Lloyd, another great classmate. I haven't seen Curt in decades and I am so sorry to hear he has died. Too young to go.
