Cynthia Ann Brasier, born on November 6, 1956, in Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. Cynthia grew up in Sacramento before making her home in Bakersfield, where she raised her three daughters - Distina, Shelly, and Sammie (her "baby"). She was a devoted Mom, Gma, and Ggma whose love and laughter filled every room she entered. Cynthia's greatest joy in life was her family. She was blessed with ten grandchildren - Mariah, Dillion, Jesse, Meagan, Ashley, Kodie, Ivie, Savannah, Clayton, and Baby Sammy - who knew her lovingly as Gma. She was also a proud Ggma to four great-grandchildren - Zain, Trinity, Trenton, and Levi - all of whom she adored and who brought her endless pride and happiness. She had a lifelong love for the oldies, and her daughters grew up hearing her sing those timeless songs around the house. Her voice, her laughter, and her generous heart will forever echo in the memories of those who loved her. Cynthia will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and joyful spirit - a woman who loved deeply, laughed often, and lived fully. Celebration of Life Saturday, November 8, 2025 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Riverview Community Center 401 Willow Drive All who knew and loved Cynthia are welcome to join the family in celebrating her beautiful life and legacy. "When the night has come and the land is dark, her light will still shine - for she will forever stand by us."
