Cynthia Bruno Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Millspaugh-Ronk-Tighe/Wallkill Funeral Home on Feb. 5, 2026.
Cynthia Ann Bruno passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on February 3, 2026. She was born on June 29, 1960, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Annette R. (DeFalco) Bruno and Stanley W. Bruno.

Cynthia was a warrior in every sense of the word. She began with very little and, through determination and grit, built a successful business that provided a strong foundation for her children. Along the way, she instilled in them the same unwavering work ethic that guided her life. To be counted among her family or friends was to know steadfast loyalty - you always had someone you could depend on, no matter the circumstance.

She was also deeply artistic, gifted with a natural creativity that flourished in everything she touched. Cynthia became especially known for her meticulous and imaginative party planning, turning even simple gatherings into memorable celebrations.

Cynthia was unwavering in her convictions. She held her beliefs with honesty and strength, never hesitating to speak her mind or stand firmly for what she felt was right. Her straightforward nature was one of her defining qualities; she was true, unapologetic, and deeply authentic. She was also steadfast in her faith, relying on Jesus Christ in all things. Her testimony to God's tangible work in her life reflected the depth of her heart and spirit.

Cynthia was predeceased by her father, Stanley W. Bruno. She will forever be missed by her children, Jeffrey L. Chase, Angeleah Woo (Brandon), and Aaron Cook (Molly SanEmeterio); her grandchildren, Isla Lanthear, Lennon Woo, and Sydney Cook; her mother, Annette R. Bruno; her brothers, Stanley A. Bruno (Lorraine) and Paul Bruno; and her sister, Renee Marchant (Michael). She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and their children, all of whom held a special place in her heart. To Cynthia, there was no such thing as extended family.

Visitation will be held at Goodwill Church, 2135 State Route 208, Montgomery, New York, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by a service at 3:00 p.m.

Cynthia's legacy of strength, creativity, and unwavering faith will continue to shine through the lives of those she loved. Cynthia's family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior, held in everlasting grace.
