Cynthia Dianne Burnham-Yahn, 66, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on May 11, 2023. She was born in Cullman County, Alabama, on April 4, 1957, to Don Grimmett and Opal Janelle Bright.
Ms. Burnham-Yahn enjoyed attending worship at both North Brook Baptist Church as well as Daystar Church. She was crafty and enjoyed yard sales. In the event you were her passenger on yard sale day, it was very possible that when the car was loaded with new treasures and out of room, you might just end up walking home. Ms. Burnham-Yahn was always up for a good chat with her family and friends. Cynthia also had a heart for others and chose to become a social worker. She helped many people though her chosen field at UAB. She loved her dogs, Baxter and Snuks, and absolutely adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by many.
Ms. Burnham-Yahn is preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, Johnny Burnham; and brothers, James Bright and Jimmy Bright.
Cynthia is survived by her children, Jason Price (Dawn), Joshua Price, Nikki Terry (Brian), Rebecca Isbell, Mackenzie Isbell, Jacqueline Isbell; brothers, Wesley Bright (Alecia), Timothy Bright; a host of grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; best friends, Rhonda Johnston, Julie Childers, Cindy Zak; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to join the family at 1 p.m., on Sunday afternoon, May 14, 2023, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel for a time of visitation. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m.
Holly Pond Funeral Home is honored to serve the Burnham-Yahn family.
