Cynthia Ann Bush, 64, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 in Gulfport.

Cynthia was born in Waterloo, IA to Annie Lewis and Roosevelt Davenport on December 31, 1960. She attended East High School and went on to receive her LPN from Rockford School of Practical Nursing (1979) and proceeded to serve for 41years spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. Cynthia enjoyed traveling to warm destinations where she could visit the beach and put her feet in the water. She loved to spend time with her loving husband, children and grandchildren. She also loved to be at home watching movies and her favorite televisions shows. At her church, Cynthia loved to praise the Lord and believed in uplifting people with testimonies of the goodness of God in her life. Cynthia served as First Lady of both New Zion World Church COGIC and Greater Freewill COGIC along side her husband Pastor Stevie Bush.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Annie Keller; her maternal grandmother, Lounette Blalock; her paternal grandparents, Levi and Annabelle Davenport; her mother, Annie Lewis; her brother, Richard Blalock; and her sisters, Carolyn Bailey and Diane Davenport.

Cynthia is survived by her father, Roosevelt Davenport; her husband, Stevie Bush; her daughters, Ashly Hayes, Anntwanisha Bush and Stephanie Bush; her god-daughter, Cynthia Porter; her grandchildren, Khamani Hayes Armstrong, Nic’Kysha Haley, Ashton Haley, Silas Barrett, Jurnee Bush and Kenzi Mayers; her siblings, Sherry Davenport, Lisa Davenport, Carla (Daniel) Wilson and Darryl Dotson; her step-siblings, Loretta Manning, Wanda King and Aaron King; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Nance Temple, 311 Main Street in Biloxi on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time. A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00 am.
