Cynthia Belle Cannon of Frederica, Delaware, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was 67 years old.

Cindy was born on August 4, 1958 to Clifton and Violet Cannon.

A 1976 graduate of Lake Forest High School, Felton, Delaware, Cindy studied business throughout her four years there and received recognition for academic excellence from the National Honor Society.

Growing up in the Christian faith, Cindy served within the areas of her strengths and interests, of which music, fellowship and missions stood out. The latter, primarily, through the American Baptist Women's Ministries at the First Baptist Church of Dover, where she had been a member since 1974.

Some of Cindy's attributes and joys included her keen eye for detail, a lifelong love of animals, and a commitment to excellence regarding all interests and vocations, which were combined with a quiet observation of life.

Skilled and accomplished in various business practices, Cindy excelled in occupations requiring office management, billing expertise and payroll acquisition. Always learning and educating herself to increase proficiency in her field, she loved organization in the workplace and prioritized her extensive work ethic and efforts in those professions.

Cindy's career path began just out of high school at the Preston Trucking Company, and spanned 48 years of employment with RAM Trucking, H&H Construction and, until 2024, Gede Insulation of Dover, Delaware.

Cindy is survived by her parents, Clifton and Violet Cannon of Frederica, Delaware; her sister, Sharon Littenberg of Englewood, Colorado; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Maureen Cannon of Dover; her niece, Megan Henke of Centennial, Colorado; her nephews, Christopher Littenberg of Duncan, South Carolina and Benjamin Littenberg of Glendale, California; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

With cherished memories and love, Cindy will be missed. Her family plans to honor her and pay their respects privately. In remembrance of our daughter, sister, and aunt, donations may be made in the name of Cynthia Belle Cannon to First State Animal Center and SPCA, the American Cancer Society, or American Baptist Women's Ministries.
