Cynthia "Cindy" Idabelle Carrow, nee Turner, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, in Creve Coeur, Missouri, at the age of 69. Born on September 23, 1956, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, Cindy lived a life filled with love for her family, creativity, and quiet joys.
Cindy was the beloved wife of Chester "Pete" Carrow and a devoted mother to their three sons, Jeremy, Joshua, and Jacob Carrow. She also shared a close bond with her daughter-in-law, Tammy Carrow. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren - Emma Carrow, Presleigh Carrow, and Lane Carrow - who brought immense joy to her life. She was one of six siblings and is remembered fondly by her four sisters and one brother, Betty Terry, Evonne Williams, Gentry (Mandy) Turner Jr., Gayle Hedrick, and Jamie (Michael) Montgomery. Cindy also held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gentry Turner Sr. and Dorothy (Stegall) Turner, as well as father-and mother-in-law, Chester and Glenda Carrow.
Cindy had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She loved books and could often be found lost in a good story. Her hands were rarely still-she enjoyed sewing and crafting with care and creativity. In earlier years, she delighted in spontaneous drives with Pete and their children, exploring new places together. Some of her most treasured moments were spent sitting quietly on the riverbank reading while Pete fished nearby-a peaceful reflection of their enduring companionship. Whether traveling on vacation or enjoying the comfort of home, Cindy found happiness wherever she was surrounded by those she loved. Her warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Cindy's life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Benham Street Grill, 803 Benham Street, Bonne Terre, MO.
